New Build House

Paul Jarrett of Kenley Hall Construction oversaw the construction of our new-build house and we were extremely satisfied with the results. The quality of the work was of an excellent standard and the project was very well managed. Communication was good throughout the build and work was completed to schedule, allowing us to confidently synchronise the sale of our old house. There were very few “snagging issues” and minor ones that did occur in the few months after moving in were swiftly and efficiently dealt with.

A few years later, our holiday home in the Lake District was very badly damaged in the flooding of 2015. We selected Paul to project manage the restoration and, using his excellent network of skilled tradesmen, we were back open to guests in just a few months. Again, we were delighted with the quality of every aspect of the work and it was completed to schedule and within budget.

In all our dealings with Paul, we have found him very professional and a pleasure to deal with. We have always felt confident and well-informed about the progress of the work and have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Period Cottage Restoration

Kenley Hall Construction provided a first class, high-quality restoration of a period cottage.  This was undertaken in a short period of time to enable the property to be rented out.  Exterior building restoration was carried out in addition to superior internal fittings and fixtures including a new kitchen and bathroom whilst still retaining the cottage’s charm.I would highly recommend Kenley Hall Construction due to their professional integrity and attention to detail which was evident at every stage.

Large Wood-chip Biomass Communal Heating System

I worked with Paul Jarrett on the installation of a large wood-chip biomass communal heating system in 2014 at Cound in Shropshire.

Paul was invaluable organising the design and building of the plant facilities containing the 3 x 200 kWh boilers and wood chip store along with managing two ground work teams laying 500 meters of underground pipes to relay the heat produced throughout an existing estate of 26 property’s and a country house with associated cottages.

This was carried out professionally and efficiently with no other services affected and minimal disturbance to the residents.I would have no problem working with Paul on future projects or recommending him to others.

Wellbeing Garden

Kenley Hall Construction has expertly landscaped and transformed an overgrown and wild area of garden into a beautiful, tranquil and usable space that flows from the interior of our home.

A terrace of stone paving was set out and laid and covers the length of our house. The terrace leads onto an area that includes four identical flower beds set out and bordered by coated steel edging and separated by metre wide gravel paths. A central area of brick paving was laid in the shape of a diamond that supports a water feature.

The project was not straightforward and included differing levels of ground.
Paul is professional and knowledgeable with expert landscaping and construction skills and his work is of a very high standard. He is hardworking and reliable and we have no hesitation in recommending him. We are thrilled with our garden.

I bought an old cottage two years ago. It needed a lot of work to make it a pleasant home to live in. A friend recommended Paul & the work started. The whole team was amazing. They were professional and very hardworking. In no time at all, the main work was completed and Paul was always there, checking that I was happy with what had been done.
